How the idea came to be:

After watching many terrible missing airliner accidents such as Malaysian air flight 370 and Egypt Air flight 804, the found of LVBP felt their must be a way to help authorities find these people. He began the inventive process of developing a backpack that would automatically float when the Co2 driven inflators hit water. He also wanted special waterproof pockets to be able to hold modern cell phones that can be tracked using applications like (Insta Mapper GPS). The GPS used is recommended to also have a program (i.e. findmyscout.com) that when it detects a rapid drop in altitude, it begins to send out an electronic signal notifying the systems tracking partners where the rapid airline drop is taking place. A special waterproof pocket is also designed for this separate GPS device.

If you are hiking and fall into a dangerous place with or without water the electronic emergency signal can be sent. You can take the LED emergency light that is included with the Backpack to signal you need help.
